CiR 2016 Global Shopper Study - Fieldwork phase complete

CiR are delighted to announce that fieldwork for their 2016 Global Shopper Study has successfully completed across key international airport locations.
Backed by leading brand companies across all key duty free categories, the 2016 Global Shopper Study delivers up-to-date consumer insights.
Commenting on the latest initiative, CiR Managing Director Garry Stasiulevicuis said, "At completion we have gathered responses from more than 23,000 individuals, an increase of 3,000 over the target we'd initially aimed for. Fieldwork has completed in 15 strategic locations in Europe, Middle East, Asia, North America and South America, providing us with insight from 215 different travelling nationalities. We've asked more than 1.5 million questions which have generated over 3.3 million responses". He adds, "This is the fourth time we've executed this study since 2008, and we'll be able to create meaningful insight into changes over that time".
The 2016 Global Shopper Study will include feedback from buyers, non-buyers and non-visitors across all the key categories, to provide detailed insight to shopping motivations as well as barriers to purchase.
