CiR 2016 Global Shopper Study - fieldwork underway

CiR are delighted to announce that fieldwork for their 2016 Global Shopper Study has commenced at a number of key international airport locations.

Backed by leading brand companies across all key duty free categories, the 2016 Global Shopper Study will deliver up-to-date consumer insights.

Commenting on the latest initiative, CiR Managing Director Garry Stasiulevicuis said, "At completion, we'll have gathered intelligence from over 20,000 travellers in 15 key international locations. Fieldwork has commenced in strategic locations in Europe, Middle East and South America. Shortly our extensive network of experienced field operatives will be deployed across Asia and North America to complete our target number of interviews". He adds, "This is the fourth time we've executed this study since 2008, and we'll be able to create meaningful insight into changes over that time".

The 2016 Global Shopper Study will include feedback from buyers, non-buyers and non-visitors across all the key categories, to provide detailed insight to shopping motivations as well as barriers to purchase.
