CiR contribute to ETRC Annual Business Forum

CiR were delighted to attend and present at the ETRC Annual Business Forum in Brussels in January 2016, sharing insight on 'Understanding the Travel Retail Shopper'.

Sharing key findings from 2015 research, CiR Managing Director Garry Stasiulevicuis presented to the audience in the Brussels Sheraton Airport hotel on January 28th 2016. With express permission from TFWA, he delivered insights from a large cross category study performed by CiR in 2015 for the organisation. Supported by additional CiR intelligence, the presentation delivered clear information and insight on each of the core categories researched. These included Watches & Jewellery, Alcohol, Beauty, Fashion & Accessories, Tobacco and Confectionery. In addition, topics such as luxury shopping and the premium experience were investigated, along with the role of the travel retail channel in brand recruitment.

The European Travel Retail Confederation (ETRC) is an industry association for the duty free and travel retail industry in Europe. Aiming to protect the industry and also allow it to reach its potential, the organisation serves the industry and its members.
