NPD group completes acquisition of CiR

As announced in December 2016, the NPD Group, a global provider of information and advisory services, has completed its acquisition of CiR.

As of 1 January, CiR is now officially part of the NPD Group, giving access to NPD’s experience of point of sale tracking and information gathering gained from their work across more than 20 categories and 1,200 retailers in 36 different countries. Completion of the deal now gives CiR immediate access to more information and more data to provide their clients with richer insight and advice.
